The SUMO is a hybrid glass and metal smoking pipe that is designed to take a beating. The SUMO pipe's aluminum exoskeleton features shock-absorbing gaskets and deep threads that protect the glass interior of the pipe from accidental drops and impacts. The shock from a drop filters through the aluminum shell, then through the shock absorbers before reaching the glass; protecting it from almost any drop from six feet or less. The bottom of the SUMO can easily be removed with the twist of a small set screw which opens the pipe up for easy cleaning and potential add-ons from the manufacturer.
The SUMO pipe's exoskeleton is precision milled from 6061-T6 Aluminum and finished with a specially developed matte black anodized coating. The removable borosilicate glass is durable and resistant to high heat.
The most unique feature of this already unique hand pipe is the option for a single or dual carb. The two screws on the side of the bowl can be removed individually opening up either one carb on your preferred side of the pipe or both carbs. The manufacturer has tested this feature and says that opening up both carbs results in an even larger "supercharged" hit!
