Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping:

‚Ė™ All domestic orders¬†for $25.00 or more ship for free.¬†The¬†shipping service used for¬†orders that¬†qualify for free shipping may vary depending on the size and weight of the order. Most orders that qualify for free shipping that are under 1lb ship via USPS First Class Mail. Most orders¬†weighing 1lb or more ship via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.

‚Ė™ We also offer expedited shipping¬†at an additional charge through UPS & USPS. All shipping rates are calculated and presented to you at checkout. Be sure to read your options carefully. If your order qualifies for free shipping you will need to choose the free shipping option from the menu.

‚Ė™ Unless stated otherwise in the product listing your order will ship directly from Next Bardo Online Head Shop located in Portland, Oregon.¬†

Third Party Shipping:

‚Ė™ Some of the products¬†sold at nextbardo.com ship from a third party. All of the listings for products¬†that do¬†NOT ship directly from Next Bardo in Portland, Oregon will be clearly marked with details stating that the product ships from a third party and will tell you what U.S. State the¬†product¬†ships from.¬†

‚Ė™ We have an agreement¬†with all of our partners¬†that they will honor our shipping policy to the best of their ability. That means that regardless of where your product is shipping from; the handling times, the shipping services, and any qualified free shipping service will still apply to your order.¬†

‚Ė™ If you purchase multiple items that ship from separate locations, your products may¬†be delivered in multiple packages. If that is the case, you will receive separate tracking information for each package. If you have ever ordered from Amazon, you can think of this in very much the same way.¬†

‚Ė∂‚Ė∂‚Ė∂ One very important note regarding products that ship via a third party. We are unable at this time to accept International orders for any products that ship via a third party. Products that ship via a third party are available to ship inside the United States and its territories only. Again, product listings are clearly marked, please read them carefully before placing your order.¬†

International Shipping:

‚Ė™ We ship to an ever-growing list of countries around the world. We currently offer UPS delivery only for international orders.¬†Shipping prices vary for international orders. You will¬†be presented pricing during checkout when you select your country. If you find that shipping is not available to your country on our site, it means we do not currently ship to your country. We apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to ship to every country¬†soon.

Customs Fee's, Duties, and Taxes for International Orders: 

‚Ė™ The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient;¬†Next Bardo Head Shop has no control over these charges, nor can we predict what they may be.

‚Ė™ Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for more information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

‚Ė™ Please note, it is your responsibility to know the laws and regulations of importing our products into your country. If your shipment is confiscated by customs you will not be refunded. Furthermore, if you refuse to pay import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by your country or the carrier, your package will be discarded by the carrier and you will not be refunded.

How long until my order ships? 

As a policy, we allow 1-2 business days handling time, that said, most orders ship within 24hrs (excluding weekends and holidays). In the unlikely case that there is a delay in shipping your order, you will be contacted by a representative with an explanation and options for navigating the situation. 

How long until I receive my order?

The timelines below are estimates, not guarantees. Generally speaking, these estimates are on spot, however, occasionally shipping can take longer than anticipated. If the shipping times below have been exhausted and you still have not received your order, please contact us so we can look into the situation.

Shipping Estimates for Domestic Orders:

USPS First Class: Usually delivered within 3-9 business days once received by the carrier.
USPS Priority: Usually delivered within 2-4 business days once received by the carrier. 
UPS Ground: Usually delivered within 1-5 business days once received by the carrier.
UPS 3 day select: Usually delivered within 3 business days once received by the carrier.
UPS 2nd day: Usually delivered within 2 business days once received by the carrier.

‚Ė∂‚Ė∂‚Ė∂ Please note that the above timetable does not include the additional handing time¬†prior to being dropped with the carrier¬†(usually an additional 1 -2 business days).

Shipping Estimates for International Orders:

Shipping times vary per country. The most common shipping method for international orders is UPS Standard shipping which can take anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks depending on the destination. You can calculate accurate international shipping times online at ups.com.

Do you offer discreet packaging? 

‚Ė™ Yes, all packages for domestic orders are shipped in unmarked bubble mailers, corrugated¬†boxes or standard USPS Flat Rate boxes or mailers with a return address of¬†Next Bardo, LLC. There is no mention of "Smoke Shop", "Head Shop", or any of the products you purchased on the packaging.

‚Ė™ The above is true for International orders as well, however, with¬†international shipments it is required that we list product information such as the products name, description, and value on the customs forms. If you are placing¬†an order from outside the Unites States there will be paperwork attached to your package with identifiable info regarding the contents.

Will my order require a signature? 

‚Ė™ Maybe... If you are a new customer¬†and we are unable to verify that you are 21+ years of age prior to shipment, your package¬†may ship with an adult signature required. This may also be the case for orders¬†with a value of $300.00 or more even if you are a returning customer. Unfortunately,¬†years of fraud, theft, and,¬†lost packages have forced us to require signatures for larger orders.¬†

‚Ė™ If your package is going to require a signature upon delivery, we will attempt to contact you prior to shipping your package, and inform you that a signature will be required.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to Canada, Australia and some other select countries around the world. If you do not see your country listed when entering your shipping address at checkout, we unfortunately do not support shipping to your country at this time. We hope to ship worldwide in the near future.
